Our customer service team does not have access to the specific reasons for your account denial. However, after being denied, you should have received an email with an adverse action attached, which states the specific reasons for your denial.
Please note that your denial was not due to your traditional credit history or credit score. Our bank partner uses ChexSystems, a database of past retail banking history, to determine eligibility for a credit builder account. ChexSystems is a nationwide specialty consumer reporting agency under the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) that collections information on consumers' closed checking and savings accounts. If you would like to learn more about your ChexSystems report please contact them directly.
If while viewing your report, you discover errors, you have the right to dispute any inaccurate information contained in your ChexSystems report. Once these items are cleared from the ChexSystems report, you are welcome to re-apply for a credit builder account.
